Make this outcome true, and prove it.

Leviathan is the open runtime for agent-human systems. Agents act through real surfaces under explicit policy, and every run leaves a trace you can check before you accept the work.

    The core model

Three planes, kept apart on purpose.

Policy, state and causality each get their own plane, so a run never becomes one black box.

    Control · policy

    FlowMind

Constraints are FlowMind definitions: flows that are compiled, validated and executed. Admission fails closed.

    State · knowledge

    Graph

Memory and classified context that agents read from and write to between runs, instead of starting cold.

    Causality spine

    Event Bus

Every action emits an auditable event, so a trace can show what happened, in what order and why.

    How a run works

Delegate a bounded task. Accept it on evidence.

A command exiting cleanly doesn't count as a pass. If the evidence is missing, the task stays open.

    1. Inspect existing work

Read the workstream's objective, state and artifacts. Listing work doesn't attach a session or authorize anything.

      lev workstream list --json
    2. Agree the contract

Outcome, allowed effects, verifier and stop condition, all agreed before any provider call.

      lev exec --help
    3. Execute

One lev exec lifecycle that reuses the project's tests, CI and eval packs before building anything new.

      lev exec …
    4. Inspect the trace

Check the outcome and linked evidence, then approve or decline.

      lev trace EXEC_ID --json

What's real, and what isn't claimed yet.

    Exists today
    • FlowMind compiler and execution surfaces
    • @lev-os/exec
    • 60+ CLI commands across multiple modules
    • Human-in-the-loop surfaces through AgentPing
    Not claimed yet
    • The universal context graph hasn't fully landed
    • Not enterprise-ready
    • Parts of the architecture are ahead of the implementation

    Development quick start

Clone it. Build it. Inspect one project.

Inspecting a project doesn't need a provider call and doesn't create a workstream.
